Sri Radha Krishna Goenka College, Sitamarhi — the first college of the district — was established in 1949 by the late Kamla Prasad Goenka. It is a constituent unit of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, recognized under section 2(f) and 12(B) of UGC Act 1956. The college offers teaching up to UG level in 15 subjects across Arts, Science and Commerce, and PG in 10 subjects. Vocational courses in BCA, BBA, and Biotechnology are also offered. The campus spans 11.72 acres with a library, laboratories, smart classrooms, seminar hall, and e-library.
